Frequently asked questions
How do I become an instructor?
Download the app, create your account and activate instructor mode from your profile. It will walk you through a Stripe identity verification (5 minutes) and setting up your payout account. Once verified, you can publish classes immediately.
What does Zzmove charge in fees?
8% of the price of each confirmed booking, with a minimum of €0.50. No monthly fees, no sign-up cost, no lock-in. If nobody books your class, you pay nothing.
When do I get paid as an instructor?
Stripe Connect Express transfers to your bank account every 7 days. The first transfer may take 7–14 days after your first class (initial verification); after that it's automatic weekly.
Do I need a company or can I bill as a freelancer?
Freelancer is enough. Stripe generates summaries to help with your VAT filing. Each booking generates a sequential PDF invoice that your students download automatically.
Can I teach more than one discipline?
Yes. Each class you publish has its own discipline (Zumba, Strong, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Gold, Masterclass, etc.). You can alternate between as many as you want from the same profile.
What happens if I have to cancel a class?
From the app you cancel the class with one tap. Zzmove automatically refunds 100% to all enrolled students and sends them a notification email. The sooner you cancel, the better for your reputation; we ask that it only happen in force-majeure situations.
How does identity verification work?
It's Stripe Identity (not Zzmove). You upload your ID or passport and take a selfie. Stripe processes it in under 1 minute in most cases. It's a trust signal for students: they see a verified badge on your profile.
